      Effect:Texture Blur
      Category:Color Sources
      Speed:Fast

Description: The Texture Blur Effect lets you use any of the 5 Texture or Noise slots in the Texture Pane and use that Texture, blurred, in your painting. Since you can use multiple Effects at the same time, you can use multiple Texture Effects with different Textures (up to 5). Textures are either Noise or a Photo from your Photo Album.

The Texture Blur Effect is identical to the Texture Effect with the addition of a blur added to the Texture as you paint.

If you enable the Fit To Brush Option you will paint with the Texture Blur sized to your brush.

Options: The Texture Blur Effect has the following Options Pane:

Texture Slot:Use this to select the Texture Slot you want to user from the Texture Pane. The dark green circle is the currently selected Texture, the lighter yellowish circles are not selected. Remember that any Texture slot can contain either a Photo from your Photo Album, or Noise. The Texture slot you pick does not have to have a Texture in it yet - however, if you try to paint you will get a warning that you need to load a missing Texture.
X Blur Size:The Horizontal Blur Size. This can be a value from 1 to 100. This sets the blur filter size. The larger the number the more blur the object has. Very large numbers create a faceted blur.
Y Blur Size:The Vertical Blur Size. This can be a value from 1 to 100. This sets the blur filter size. The larger the number the more blur the object has. Very large numbers create a faceted blur.
Blur Red:If set to a Red X, the Red channel is not blurred. If set to a Green Check Mark the Red Channel is blurred.
Blur Green:If set to a Red X, the Green channel is not blurred. If set to a Green Check Mark the Green Channel is blurred.
Blur Blue:If set to a Red X, the Blue channel is not blurred. If set to a Green Check Mark the Blue Channel is blurred.
Blur Alpha:If set to a Red X, the Alpha channel is not blurred. If set to a Green Check Mark the Alpha Channel is blurred.
Fit To Brush:If set to a Red X the Effect spans the screen such that as you paint you reveal the Effect. When set to a Green Check Mark the Effect is sized to the brush such that as you paint the entire Effect is within the brush itself.
Output Color 1:By default this is set to REPLACE which means that the set color will be output to Color 1. You can change this as explained in Options Pane Color Mixers.
Output Color 2:By default this is set to IGNORE which means that the Color 2 will be ignored (the original Color 2 will be kept). You can change this as explained in Options Pane Color Mixers.

Example: To show the Texture Blur Effect we again have loaded our Arches National Park photo into our Texture Pane slot 1:

In this next image we have painted using the default Texture Blur values:

Here we have used a higher (more blurry) X and Y Blur Size of 10:
