      Effect:Warped Rings
      Category:Procedural Sources
      Speed:Fast

Description: The Warped Rings Effect creates a warped ringed surface using Color 1 for the ring color and Color 2 for the space color.

If you enable the Fit To Brush Option you will paint with the Warped Rings Effect sized to your brush.

Options: The Warped Rings Effect has the following Options Pane:

Flow:This value controls how even the rings flow from one to the next. Low values generate more regular patterns. High values generate more turbulent flow.
Rings:This value controls the number of rings produced. Values closer to zero produce fewer rings. Higher values produce more rings that become more tightly packed as the value increases.
Pattern Control:This value controls the overall warp pattern applied to the rings. Different values will produce different warped patterns.
X Zoom:This value controls the zoom in the X (horizontal) direction. Values closer to zero are closer up. Values further away from zero are zoomed out.
Y Zoom:This value controls the zoom in the Y (vertical) direction. Values closer to zero are closer up. Values further away from zero are zoomed out.
Fit To Brush:If set to a Red X the Effect spans the screen such that as you paint you reveal the Effect. When set to a Green Check Mark the Effect is sized to the brush such that as you paint the entire Effect is within the brush itself.
Output Color 1:By default this is set to REPLACE which means that the set color will be output to Color 1. You can change this as explained in Options Pane Color Mixers.
Output Color 2:By default this is set to IGNORE which means that the Color 2 will be ignored (the original Color 2 will be kept). You can change this as explained in Options Pane Color Mixers.

Example: The following image shows the Warped Rings Effect with its default settings and Color 1 set to white and Color 2 set to red:

In this next image, we have increased the number of Rings:

Using the same Rings setting as the previous image, we have increased the X Zoom:

Using the same X Zoom as before, we have lowered the Rings to 1:
