      Effect:Invert
      Category:Color Filter
      Speed:Fast

      Description: The Invert Effect lets you flip (invert) the individual color channels of Color 1 and/or Color 2. For example, the inversion of white is black.

      The math is expressed as follows (just for interest):

      Result = 1.0-ColorN

      Options: The Invert Effect has the following Options Pane:

      Affect Color 1:When set to a Green Check Mark, Color 1 is inverted as specified by the other options. When set to a Red X, Color 1 is unchanged.
      Affect Color 2:When set to a Green Check Mark, Color 2 is inverted as specified by the other options. When set to a Red X, Color 2 is unchanged.
      Invert Red:When set to a Green Check Mark, the Red Channel of the selected Color(s) is inverted. When set to a Red X, the Red Channels remain unchanged.
      Invert Green:When set to a Green Check Mark, the Green Channel of the selected Color(s) is inverted. When set to a Red X, the Green Channels remain unchanged.
      Invert Blue:When set to a Green Check Mark, the Blue Channel of the selected Color(s) is inverted. When set to a Red X, the Blue Channels remain unchanged.
      Invert Alpha:When set to a Green Check Mark, the Alpha Channel of the selected Color(s) is inverted. When set to a Red X, the Alpha Channels remain unchanged.

      Example: To show the Invert Effect we will take our Arches National Park image and load it into Slot 1 using the Texture Effect. In Slot 2 we have our Invert Effect.

      The following three images show:

      1. The normal image with no changes. Affect Color 1 is set to a Red X.
      2. The image with Affect Color 1 set to a Green Check Mark and Invert Red, Invert Green, and Invert Blue set to a Green Check Mark. Invert Alpha is set to a Red X. This is a complete RGB color inversion of the original image.
      3. The image with Affect Color 1 and Invert Red set to a Green Check Mark. Invert Green, Invert Blue, and Invert Alpha are set to a Red X. This inverts only the Red Channel, leaving the rest unchanged.
